Kirsten Stolle A native of Massachusetts, Kirsten studied art at Framingham State College, Massachusetts College of Art, and Kensington College in London. Initially focused on painting and mixed media/collage she soon became fascinated with the ancient art of printmaking. Being able to work and re-work marks on a plate and add layers of layers of ink upon ink, she discovered the thrill of “pulling" each print. Although familiar with various types of printmaking, she has committed herself to fully explore the process of etching and monotype. Kirsten is an active member of the California Society of Printmakers and the Los Angeles Society of Printmakers and her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the West Coast.
